Is Mahesh Babu losing his Stardom?
As we reported earlier, Mahesh Babu’s ‘SPYder’ failed so miserably at the Box-Office. The movie incurred more than 50% losses in most of the areas and despite the long weekend, the movie failed to live up to the mark. Now, the distributors who reaped huge losses are moving to the Producers Council to get back compensation.
As per reports, both Mahesh Babu and Director AR Murugadoss took 22 Crores as remuneration and more than half the budget went in their remuneration itself. Now, the pressure is on Mahesh and ARM to pay compensation. Distributors demand 1/3rd of compensation for the losses in every area.
As always, Mahesh Babu promises them another film for the same distributors and distributors are not trusting him anymore. Because in the past, when ‘Brahmotsavam’ failed, Mahesh said the same, but still now there are no talks about Mahesh doing a movie with PVP banner. So, distributors are asking for the compensation immediately.
